The homes here seemed small next to the towering mountains. Everything was built of stones - the homes and fences - and only occasionally was there a tree or two. The people here raised llamas, sheep, and sometimes donkeys. The homes here were few and far between and accessible only by walking paths, and many miles from other villages.
